Woodinville Bicycle Reviews
This shop is great! The people there are super helpful. They make sure the bike fits you well and they walk you through everything that you need to know in order for you to get going. The manager Ozzi was super nice and informative throughout the whole process. Mike, in maintenance, was super helpful when I needed to install the bike rack on my vehicle. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone!
May 19, 2025 · Benjamin RobersonThe mechanic is a good guy and pretty good with bikes. But I am pretty disappointed with the front desk service. My bike work was completed , but they never called or texted me to inform that my bike was ready. Now my bike is in the shop during the weekend and Monday when the shop is closedTo compare, When I take my car for service and when my car is ready , they call / txt me to let me know my car is readyWhen I take my dog for grooming, they call me / txt me to let me know that my dog is readyI am expecting the same level of service from this shop. They used to do it but now their service quality at the front desk has gone south ( unfortunately)If they can’t provide the level of service that others provide, I will take my business somewhere else.Hope they replace the guy on the front desk.
Jun 23, 2025 · Anup PachlagFive stars all the way!I had a fantastic experience at Woodinville Bike. The shop itself is well-organized, welcoming, and clearly run by people who care about both bikes and their customers.A special shoutout to Aiden, who was incredibly professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. From answering my questions patiently to helping troubleshoot some unexpected issues, he handled everything with skill and genuine kindness. It’s rare to find that level of dedication and follow-through these days—and it made all the difference.Whether you’re a casual rider or a serious cyclist, I can’t recommend Woodinville Bike—and Aiden—highly enough.
Jul 02, 2025 · sushil bogatiNot a great experience. If you want to be treated like you're less-than, don't go here.I brought in a wheelset that I had laced up. All I needed was a wheelset trued since I don't have a truing stand at home. For context, I had called two other shops on the Seattle side that were going to charge me $30 per wheel, so around $60 in total. But that day I was heading out for an errand on the East Side so I decided stop at Woodinville Bicycle since I was headed that direction anyway. When I walked in the guy at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly, no issues there. But when I went to the back to the mechanic, I showed him my wheelset and told him that I had laced them and needed a true, he gave a big sigh and asked "you laced these yourself?" in a very demeaning/dismissive way, as if I didn't know what I was doing or as if he didn't trust a customer. I may not be a dedicated bike mechanic but I have built motorcycles engines, I'm no idiot and do know some things, I just literally didn't have the tools/truing stand to complete the job myself. Since truing stands are expensive I just wanted to save some money and have a shop do the truing for me and actually support a local business! He then proceeded to tell me that they prefer to do a wheel build themselves because many times customers do it wrong and they have to redo some of the spokes, etc. He put the wheels on the truing stand to give them a spin. As he was spinning them he was nodding his head the entire time in "disapproval". He then went to his computer to punch in some quote numbers and came back to me saying that he would have to charge me $70 per wheel! That's $140 for both wheels! Sadly I said no and took my service back to Seattle, where the shop there happily charged me $70 for BOTH wheels including rim tape. Not only that but at the Seattle-side shop, the people there were happily eager to be of help, to talk to you about bikes, and when I told them I laced the wheels myself they were excited that I was working on my own bike. I'm not new to riding bikes, I commute five days a week on my bike, and I've worked in customer service for many years. Pretty disappointed with Woodinville Bicycle, I understand that you may have to charge whatever you need per your shop policy/rates, but if I'm treated like I'm "below you" when it comes to bikes, then I'm sure I'm not the only one.
