La Cadena Bicycle Shop Reviews
Great owner and Very honest. I was building a new Track frame and I had another bike I wanted to swap components (crank) he charge me $5 or less to swap the crank, I also brought a headset I wanted him to install which was $15 and I bought a after market bottom bracket for $25 plus free installation and a KMC chain for the drivetrain for $15. I bought new handle bar grips odyssey for $13. He swapped the rims for free and the stem and handle bars. I thought I need to change the Inter tube for both rims but he suggested to just add air and ride it so I saved money on that. Overall great customer service. There were 3 people in line and it only took 20mins to be my turn.Shop locally to invested in your community.
May 14, 2023 · DaveEarlier today Jan. 30 2023 I went to this local bike shop where I go as last resort. The owner of the shop charged me 38 dollars where he popped out of his head for a new common axle bearing (NOT aluminum) for the back wheel including his service, I released the bike to him and went for a walk. I called other local bike shops and it turns out they charge less than 25 dollars including their service but that wasn’t my concern since It’s local and hoped he would give a good service.I came back an hour later since he said that’s how long it was going to take him he including said he was finished…I feel the wheel and it’s still loose and I ask him if he doesn’t think it’s loose, He stares at the tire feels it and says “ perhaps it might need a bit more tightening”…after I left two blocks away my bike tire loses all the air. This person had no concern over my safety very unprofessional he is dishonest and a person who takes the original parts of your bike replaces it with something cheaper and overcharges his locals. I’m never coming back.
Jan 31, 2023 · GmoI've been giving this guy business for a while and always drop a tip.I call to ask for quick advice about a chain and he acts like he doesn't know what's a universal length and then tells me you know what I'm really busy...I should have noticed the customer service when he was fixing my rims one day and he couldn't keep his eyes off the TV
Sep 13, 2019 · Get RealIt was great, owner fixed my niece's bike deflated wheel for like less than 10 boxes in around 10 minutes and was riding like new on our way back.
