Kozy's Cyclery - River North Reviews
I’ve had to visit this Kozy’s location a few times in the last year only to get flat tires fixed. Staff has always been friendly fast and professional. As Chicago continues to build out bike lanes our two wheeled support teams are more vital than ever. Props to Kozy, keep it kosher. Cheers
Jun 25, 2025 · TickerI came in for a new tube for my rear tire that was flat. Great customer service. Quick repair. They also have a mechanic that is bilingual in Spanish in case that helps anyone.
Apr 14, 2025 · David AntonKozys has won me over as my lifetime bike shop in Chicago.Every. Single. Time I go in there for anything small or big, they are always very friendly, helpful, and honest with me.There have been numerous times I have came in for flats, issues, or even basic questions. Every time I left happy and impressed with the knowledge and service.I did want to give a specific shout-out to Steven who has been tremendously helpful with some weird issues I was having with my e-bike and it's maintance visit.Oh and also a shout-out to the awesome dude with the kilt and dreads, he has been super helpful many times too!
Apr 18, 2025 · Battle TomasettiThe sweetest guys in the front and absolutely horrible customer service at mechanic's. Initially came in for a flat tire repair and a general seasonal check, got attitude and a lot of unnecessary commentary about how cheap my bike was and how crappy, along with suggestions that I'd be better off buying something else. Sure, my bike is nothing fancy, but it serves my needs, and still requires occasional maintenance like any other. The remarks were totally unprofessional, rude and completely out of place. The lady who witnessed the conversation while waiting was in complete shock too, just like me. Sad to be judged at a place where you're supposed to be getting help for your money. Left in complete resentment, and while the service was reasonably priced, I won't be coming back and definitely won't be recommending this shop to anyone I know.
Jun 11, 2025 · Kristina BHorrible customer NO service!! My first time in this store. Just bought a place in the neighborhood and needed a bike helmet in possibly a new electric bicycle. Ready and willing to drop two thousand dollars on the ebike Wanted to buy a helmet first and scout chicago out on a divvy bike.I was absolutely the only customer in the entire place. The sleepy looking ban at the registered.Did that acknowledge my coming in the door. Another sleepy, looking older gentleman sat to my left and Stared at the wall.I tried going through the helmets on the incap that were for sale. However, there was a stack of three bikes leaning against the display. Tried on several different sizes. It realized I needed a size that was towards the bottom of this stack. I'm making all kinds of noise going through these boxes, pulling helmets out and trying to balance the stack of bikes that we're intruding in my search while trying on a helmet. They obviously saw me.I didn't care to help.Frustrated, I asked if there were any other bicycle helmets besides these. We said, there's some more in the back.Went to the back proceeded to go through these helmets. Again, the only that's rent the entire store. I'm making noise. I'm unpacking helmets from boxes, drying them on. I received absolutely no help whatsoever. Then a tall gentleman that appeared to be working in the back walked by me, saw my struggle and ignored me as well.Need this to say it will not be dropping. Two thousand dollars at this location and will continue my search for a bicycle shop where the staff actually Care to help!!This location deserves a 2 star. However, i'm giving it three stars because the inventory.
