Greenpath Electric Bikes Introduce
For residents of Brooklyn and the wider New York City area, the popularity of electric bikes continues to grow, offering a convenient and efficient way to navigate urban landscapes and enjoy outdoor recreation. Greenpath Electric Bikes aims to serve this burgeoning market by providing electric bikes and associated services right here in our borough. As a local establishment, they position themselves as a resource for New Yorkers looking to explore the world of e-biking.
Electric bikes represent a significant shift in personal transportation, offering pedal-assist and throttle options that make commutes easier and recreational rides more accessible. For those in New York City considering an e-bike, having a local shop that can assist with sales and service is an important factor. Greenpath Electric Bikes is located to cater to these needs, striving to be a point of contact for electric bike sales and repair services within the community.
---Greenpath Electric Bikes is located at 757 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11232, USA. This address places the store on a significant avenue in Brooklyn, suggesting relative ease of access for local residents. Fourth Avenue is a well-trafficked corridor, which can make the store a visible and accessible option for those searching for electric bikes and related services in the area.
For New Yorkers relying on public transportation, 4th Avenue is typically well-served by bus routes and is within reasonable proximity to subway lines, enhancing its accessibility from various Brooklyn neighborhoods and potentially other boroughs. While specific parking information is not available, its urban location might mean street parking or nearby garages are options. The convenience of its location aims to cater to the needs of busy city dwellers looking for local e-bike solutions.
---Greenpath Electric Bikes offers services typical of an electric bicycle retailer, focusing on sales and repair. However, it's important to consider that customer experiences, particularly regarding warranty service, may vary.
- Electric Bike Sales: Greenpath Electric Bikes sells various models of electric bikes, including brands like Magicycle and Ride1Up. They aim to provide a selection for different riding preferences and budgets for New York consumers.
- Parts & Accessories: As an e-bike shop, they are expected to stock or order parts and accessories specific to electric bicycles, such as batteries, displays, chargers, and other specialized components.
- Electric Bike Repairs: Greenpath Electric Bikes offers repair services for electric bikes. According to their website, they state they have "the best repair center for Electric Bikes on the East Coast" and are "able to repair almost all electric bikes on the market today." They also mention a repair deposit and offer a pick-up and delivery service for e-bike repairs.
- Warranty Service: Greenpath Electric Bikes claims to "handle all warranty issues and SERVICE" for the brands they sell, with a stated aim to avoid long waits for parts. However, one customer review highlights significant issues and delays encountered during a warranty claim process for a Magicycle bike purchased from them. This review details challenges with communication, undisclosed shipping fees, and the store ultimately refusing to service the bike despite selling it with a manufacturer's warranty.
- Financing Options: Their website indicates they offer "100% Financing Available" for electric bike purchases.
- Authorized Dealer Status: Greenpath states they are an "authorized dealer of every brand of electric bike and electric scooter that we sell," and that they "proudly supports our customers in all ways possible — with the capacity to perform most service or repairs right here in our own shop."
Based on the provided information and public data, here are some features and highlights of Greenpath Electric Bikes:
- Focus on Electric Bikes: The store specializes entirely in electric bikes, which means their inventory and expertise are concentrated on this growing segment of the cycling market. This can be a highlight for New Yorkers specifically seeking e-bikes.
- Wide Range of E-Bike Brands: They reportedly carry "the best electric bikes in every price category" and "only represent the Manufactures that provide the best and most professional customer service to our customers," suggesting a broad selection. One review mentions a "Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser ebike" purchased there, indicating variety.
- Repair Center Claims: Greenpath states they have a strong repair capability, claiming to be "the best repair center for Electric Bikes on the East Coast" and able to "repair almost all electric bikes on the market today." They also offer pick-up and delivery for repairs.
- Warranty Handling Claims: Greenpath states they handle warranty issues in-house and work with manufacturers that have "American offices and warehouses" to avoid long waits for parts. However, a detailed customer review directly contradicts this claim, describing a problematic warranty experience involving significant delays, conflicting information, undisclosed fees, and eventual refusal of service for a bike still under warranty. This discrepancy is a critical point for potential customers.
- Reasonable Pricing (according to one review): One customer indicated "Very reasonable pricing" for their Ride1Up e-bike, which could be a positive point for budget-conscious buyers in New York.
- Business Hours: Based on public information, their hours of operation are generally 12:00-7:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and 11:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, with Thursday and Sunday closed. This consistent schedule (as per their website) provides clarity for visitors.

---For New Yorkers in Brooklyn and beyond, Greenpath Electric Bikes presents itself as a dedicated destination for electric bicycle sales and service. Its specialization in e-bikes means it aims to cater directly to the growing segment of the population adopting this form of transportation, offering a range of models and repair capabilities. The store's location on 4th Avenue provides a convenient access point for many city residents.
However, potential customers should be aware that while the store advertises comprehensive warranty support and excellent repair services, at least one detailed customer review highlights significant challenges and dissatisfaction regarding a warranty claim, including issues with communication, unexpected fees, and a reported refusal of service for a product sold by the store. This specific feedback indicates that while Greenpath Electric Bikes positions itself as a full-service e-bike provider, experiences with after-sales support, particularly concerning warranties, may not always align with customer expectations. Therefore, while suitable for initial e-bike purchases, New York locals should consider all available information and potentially clarify warranty and service terms upfront to ensure peace of mind.

Greenpath Electric Bikes Reviews
Buyer Beware – Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and MagicycleReview:I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed.Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle.Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing.Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike — despite selling me the product with a warranty.Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work.I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell.If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.Update in response to Greenpath’s reply:I appreciate the response, but I stand by my experience.I did bring the battery in on 4/16. I was in constant communication and followed all requests — including emailing photos, providing the invoice, and communicating with Magicycle directly when the process stalled. Suggesting that I “mishandled the battery” is inaccurate and not something I stated. My concern was that both the battery and display had failed, and I was seeking a proper warranty resolution — not to rush anyone, but simply to get my bike back for commuting.I never demanded anything outside of the warranty agreement. I pushed back only when I was asked to pay a shipping fee that was never disclosed at purchase, and when communication began to break down. I never received a loaner or offered alternative support, and the final decision to “discontinue service” came after I asked for accountability, not before. My review reflects the full context of this warranty experience. I encourage other potential buyers to read both sides and decide for themselves.
Apr 30, 2025 · Jason FidlerThis been my shop for my Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser ebike since day 1. Very reasonable pricing.
Jul 01, 2025 · Leon IsaacsI can’t recommend this company enough. I’ve been burned several times by less than honest bike shops who try to overcharge, take longer than promised and try to tack on extra fees. Greenpath was quick, well priced, and SO pleasant to work with. I have an Aventon E-Bike and it’s hard to find service centers who are familiar with this brand. Not only did they have all of the parts needed in stock but were extremely familiar with the brand (they are also authorized sellers). I’m so happy to have found the ONLY bike shop I’ll ever take my bike to. Thank you so much to everyone on the team and can’t wait to work with them again. A+++++
Apr 29, 2025 · Justin FarkasBought my E-Bike from these guys 4 years ago and have been getting my bike tuned and fixed over the years. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. My current E bike is getting old and the staff have tried several approaches to fix my bike. Will definitely buy my next one with them. Highly recommend
May 03, 2025 · vivian jacksonNot all bikes are perfect but the assembly should be. My brand new bike it’s back wheel disassembled while I was riding in an area where there is no bike lane. Literally the rotational forward force movement gravity kept my bike in tact while I was riding next to cars and trucks. I felt danger like I was going to die if I did not stop pedaling or pressing on the electric power for my own safety. when I finally landed safe and let go of the bikes electric power and stopped pedaling the back wheel right away fell apart. Just imagine being surrounded by cars and trucks with no bike lane and the delivery maps app told you to take a road with no bike lane and your wheel disassembles in a road where cars and trucks! Going at a higher speed then normal because some app told you to take that road but forget the app the brand new bike disassembles from lack of expertise from this store. I went to go ask for them to fix it and I did not tell them my story because of how embarrassing it was. They said I need to pay to fix it. I saw the workers and I looked at them to feel out how they do fixing and all I got was a bad vibe also I got a bad vibe from the owner but I wanted to support American electric bikes so I bought from them. I realized later my bike is not meant for delivery but that’s beside the fact that the assembly was serious negligence because after paying to fix it they assembled it correctly so it’s clearly their fault and they gave me a weird vibe when I went to go ask to fix it like they did not like me from the beginning.
