Echelon Cyclery in Santa Rosa, CA, aims to be that partner, offering a range of services from expert bike fittings to comprehensive repairs, alongside a selection of high-performance bicycles. They position themselves as specialists dedicated to ensuring that your bike not only performs flawlessly but also fits you perfectly, maximizing comfort and efficiency on every ride.
The shop's commitment to personalized service is highlighted by a positive customer review: "Kevin gave me a bike fitting today, took about an hour a few tweaks and a noticeable difference on my 15 mile ride today. I want to be sure everything is in perfect alignment after my back surgery. I highly recommend echelon Cyclery, the team there is the best." This demonstrates their ability to cater to individual needs, even for riders with specific requirements like post-surgery alignment, and deliver tangible improvements that enhance the cycling experience.
However, it's also important for potential customers to be aware of mixed feedback. While some experiences are highly positive, another review indicates significant dissatisfaction with post-purchase support: "This bike store comes across as a good group prior to you making a purchase. Once the purchase is made, a completely different story... I wouldn't purchase a tire lever from these guys... Once again, they will share with you how great they are, how nice they are, but once you need any level of support post sale, you will be on your own." This suggests that while initial interactions and specialized services like bike fitting may be excellent, customers should consider post-sale support when making significant purchases.

Mar 22, 2025 · Sharon MontgomeryThis bike store comes across as a good group prior to you making a purchase. Once the purchase is made, a completely different story. They have essentially take $8K of my money and said, go to another bike store to solve the issues we had with a bike we purchased. I have emails to back my experience so, this is not made up. I wouldn't purchase a tire lever from these guys. With the holiday season coming up, there are many bike stores in the area to spend your money and I would seriously caution you to spend it here. Once again, they will share with you how great they are, how nice they are, but once you need any level of support post sale, you will be on your own. Bike purchases are expensive and making those purchases with a small business that will stand behind you is important. This is not your store. They wished me good luck with another store to resolve my issues which has cost me even more money. I believe I have to give them 1 star for this post to show and this is painful and far more than they deserve. Good luck if you make any purchases...
Nov 07, 2024 · Mick HeitherI have a few Cervelo's between the wife and I and Kevin has always had Cervelo specific parts I have needed over the years and installed bottom brackets in the past as I didn't have a special tool (I like doing all my own wrenching that I can), so when looking for my new S3 Di2 Disc I was hoping to buy here local. Most all my bikes in recent years have been 56cm with somewhere around 25mm - 35mm of spacers under the stem, Kevin & Phil at Echelon strongly believed I would be happier on a 58cm with the new integrated cockpit slammed then running spacers on a 56cm, they said it would be stiffer, handle better, ect. they were right. Already love this thing! A few mods before my first ride, changed the R.A.T. Cervelo axles out for a set of Robert Axle Project axles to clean it up a bit, changed the discs to black Dura Ace and slid on a new set of Conti 5000 TdF edition tires. Will be checking in with them to add I9 or Reserve 45/65 combo wheelset and other bikes in the future, good people here!Photo of Echelon Cycle & Multisport - Santa Rosa, CA, United States
Dec 21, 2020 · Keith RichardsThis is the real deal. I wasted a day going around Santa Rosa bike shops and sporting goods stores looking for a quality road helmet. Echelon was my last stop. Should have been my first. They had the good stuff, all the sizes, and I found a helmet that fit me perfectly and fit my needs. Echelon Cyclery is the place I plan to go for quality bike supplies from now on.
