The best of American small business quality. Alex Nutt is a true expert in mountain bike tandems. I doubt anyone else in the US knows as much as he does. He and his wife ride, he has his own brand of tandems and he spent 4 hours with us, teaching us how to ride a tandem and showing us what we needed, not what he wanted us to have. We are delighted with our purchase and will be burning up some trails first thing in the morning. Don’t bother trying to figure this all out on the web; call Alex and buy it from him. Reasonable prices and amazing service.

I've been a MTBTANDEMS customer for 5 years, riding their Fandango 29er tandem since December 2014. That was one of the best investments my wife and I have made. The great adventures we've had are only possible on such a capable, well sorted bike. I remember reading the phrase "dirt dancing" in another review, and it's perfectly descriptive of feeling and motion we attain when flowing singletrack on our Fandango. Besides my brave wife I've taken nine or ten blind people out in the 'dango and all with one exception had a blast. The bike's stability and soundness invoke that level of trust .All of this is more than sufficient to make the relatively small investment in a Fandango if you're searching for such a piece of equipment; it's impossible to beat the Fandango's capabilities at the prices Alex Nutt, who IS MTBTANDEMS. Alex is the guru of offroad tandems, period, and he really cares about his customers. Before, during and after the sale, he looks after us. I've referred several people to MTBTANDEMS, and will be a loyal customer until the sad day Alex shutters the place. In the meantime, we will continue playing and dirt dancing on our Fandango and ECDM!
