Customer Accommodation in Sales: One notable service highlight is their flexibility and customer-focused approach to sales, particularly with exchanges. A customer who was unhappy with the size of a newly purchased bike (falling between a medium and large) had their "first bike back and ordered a large (and diff model) with no questions asked." This demonstrates a willingness to ensure customer satisfaction even after a purchase has been made.
Fitness Equipment (Implied by Name): The name "Martha's Bicycles & Fitness" suggests that beyond bicycles, the store may also offer or service fitness equipment. While customer reviews specifically focus on bicycles, the name broadens the scope of their potential offerings.

While one review highlights a very positive sales and exchange experience, another expresses significant dissatisfaction with customer service and perceived lack of knowledge. This suggests that interactions can differ and customers may wish to evaluate their experience firsthand.

Martha's Bicycles & Fitness Reviews
I had been in for parts and wheel trues over the years. More recently had a great experience buying a new Trek. Ordered the bike online with the owner, but I wasn’t happy with the size (I fall between a medium and large) after I had taken it home. They took the first bike back and ordered a large (and diff model) with no questions asked. Will definitely go back for my next bike.
Sep 15, 2024 · Dave TolveDon’t waste your time going here. They won’t have what you need or know what you’re even asking for... Shop should have gone under years ago. Feel sorry for anyone that thinks this is how a bike shop should be run. Customer service is awful.Owner treats people like they are beneath him. Last I checked without customers small business’ can’t exist. Places like this make consumers like me, just want to order stuff online. And just an FYI, I worked at several shops for over 20 years and am a master mechanic. So to be treated like I knew nothing, when he had no idea who I was or what I was capable of is pretty presumptuous. There are plenty of better shops around. Buyer beware of these clowns.
Jun 06, 2020 · tony longI brought my son’s bike in for repair and they quoted me a week, week and a half service time. That was easily a week shorter than the fastest other quote. My seven year old was dismayed that he’d have to go so long without his bike, but I assured him the time would go by fast, a lie if anyone is familiar with seven year olds! What would you know? I got a text the very next day saying the bike was serviced and repaired! The work was done impeccably and the bike was cleaned to look brand new! Wonderful experience I highly recommend Martha’s
May 16, 2020 · Erich EngelhardtI have recently bought 3 bikes (in the past two months) from Martha's and have been very disappointed. I have had issues with the tires and have struggled to get support. What they did send me (and made me pay for) was the wrong size, despite them stating "this is the tire that the bike comes with" and when I called to complain, I was told they were too busy. So they are happy to sell you the bike, just don't count on their support to fix something when it goes wrong.
Jun 12, 2020 · Brian HerlihyI brought my 1971 Schwinn Continental in for service. Their knowledge of the older Schwinn's was quite amazing. Everything was done correctly and efficiently. They will be tuning up my 1981 Schwinn Super Le Tour next.
