Gregg's Bellevue Cycle, a cornerstone of the Washington cycling community, stands as a testament to enduring quality, expert knowledge, and unparalleled customer service. With roots stretching back to 1932 as a family-owned business, Gregg's Cycles (and specifically its Bellevue location) has evolved into a comprehensive resource for every type of rider. This article will provide an in-depth look into what makes Gregg's Bellevue Cycle a premier destination for residents throughout the Washington region, highlighting its convenient location, diverse services, unique features, and its undeniable suitability for the local cycling community.
Gregg's Bellevue Cycle is part of a legacy that began in Greenlake, Seattle, in 1932 under R.V. Gregg. The Bellevue location itself was opened in 1983 to serve the burgeoning cycling population on the Eastside, and has since grown to become the largest bicycle shop in the area. Now under the ownership of the third generation of the Gregg family, the business continues to uphold its founding principles: providing kind, expert service and top-quality products. They are driven by the belief that a simple bicycle can help you escape into the wilderness, explore a city, bring families together, and make everyday transportation easier. This commitment extends beyond mere sales, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, regardless of their biking knowledge or experience level. They've even been recognized as America's Best Bike Shops by the National Bicycle Dealers Association.
Gregg's Bellevue Cycle is ideally situated at 105 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA. This prominent address places it in the heart of Downtown Bellevue, a vibrant and easily accessible urban center on Washington's Eastside. This prime location makes it highly convenient for a vast number of residents across the Puget Sound region, including those in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Seattle.

Furthermore, Gregg's Bellevue Cycle boasts a significant advantage with a dedicated "parking lot under the building with 20 spots," alleviating typical urban parking challenges. In instances where the lot is full on busy days, alternative street parking is often available nearby on 1st Ave. This focus on accessibility, combined with its central location in a hub of activity and close proximity to numerous cycling routes, cements Gregg's Bellevue Cycle's role as an invaluable resource for the active cycling community throughout Washington.

Gregg's Bellevue Cycle Reviews
Joe, the salesman we worked with was amazing. My son is just getting into mountain biking and I really don't know much about it, and he patiently and thoroughly answered every one of my dumb questions and helped us towards a great bike. He never tried to upsell us, but helped us find the best bike for the price point and experience level we were working with.
Apr 08, 2025 · Kyle TrautmannBought a used bike that was originally purchased from Gregg's bikes. It had an issue with the spoke protector. I took it to Gregg's to get a replacement and they not only had a replacement but they put it on for me and charged me nothing for the parts and labor. Amazing they will provide support for used bikes that were originally bought at their shop. I'm a customer for life.
Jul 07, 2025 · Brett SanbornCurrently training for the RSVP- I had a back inquiry that requires me to raise my handlebars to endurance ride more comfortably, but had no idea what potential options I had. I visited Gregg’s since I have a long training ride scheduled for this weekend, and John in the service/parts department was so incredibly helpful! He spent time looking up the spec information on my road bike, helped diagnose what type of change to my stem was needed based on my riding posture, and even provided detailed education on how to install it securely and correctly myself at home. I’ll be coming back to see him and the rest of the service team when my bike needs a tune-up in the future- fabulous customer experience!

Apr 22, 2025 · Trevor KolboHello!I would like to say that this store has very nice and smart salespeople! I also want to note that I bought shoes for a bicycle and they helped me choose them, and I also left my favorite water bottle and they saved it for me and a salesperson named Chris contacted me to return my bottle to me. This is very nice and pleasant, and I am also ready to be a client of this store forever. People are very important!
