- Variety of Bikes: They offer a "wide range of new and used bikes," including various styles and brands like Diamondback, GT, KHS, and Reid, catering to different cycling preferences.
- Mixed Customer Experiences: It is important to note that customer reviews present a mixed picture. While one long-term customer praises the owner, Nick, for "great service" and numerous repairs, another details a highly negative experience concerning repair communication, delays, and a botched gear adjustment, especially crucial before an event like RAGBRAI. This indicates that while some customers have positive, long-standing relationships, consistency in service for certain repairs might be an area for careful consideration.

For residents of Omaha and the broader Nebraska region, Endless Trail Bike Shop presents itself as a local, family-owned option for their cycling needs. The appeal of a long-standing "mom-and-pop" shop often lies in the promise of personalized attention and community connection, aspects that many Nebraskans value. They offer a range of services from selling new and used bikes to providing repairs and accessories, aiming to be a comprehensive resource for local cyclists.
One of the significant advantages highlighted is their offer of two years of free adjustments with a new bike purchase. This can be a substantial long-term benefit, helping new bike owners keep their rides in good working order without additional immediate costs. Their focus on providing customized bike experiences and stocking a variety of bike types, including fat bikes and mountain bikes, can be particularly appealing given Nebraska's diverse riding environments, from urban trails to gravel roads and off-road paths.
However, potential customers in Nebraska should be aware of the varied experiences reported in customer reviews, particularly concerning repair services. While a long-term customer expresses strong satisfaction with regular repairs and service from Nick, another detailed account describes significant issues with communication, repair timelines, and the quality of work on a critical pre-event tune-up. This suggests that while some customers have established positive relationships, others might encounter challenges, especially for time-sensitive or complex repairs. For events like RAGBRAI, where bike functionality is paramount, such inconsistencies can be a major concern for local riders relying on expert service.
Therefore, for Nebraskans considering Endless Trail Bike Shop, it is advisable to engage directly, perhaps discussing specific repair needs and timelines upfront, especially for critical events. For new bike purchases and accessories, the positive aspects like free adjustments and a range of options might make it a suitable local choice. Ultimately, Endless Trail Bike Shop serves a segment of the Omaha cycling community, and understanding both its strengths in sales and long-term customer relationships, alongside potential areas for improvement in repair consistency, will help local users make an informed decision for their cycling journey in Nebraska.

Endless Trail Bike Shop Reviews
I've known Nick for years! Great guy, great service. Great shop. He's sold me a couple bikes and done more repairs and service for me than I can list!
Mar 17, 2025 · Jim BrummelI would not recommend this bike shop to anyone. We booked our pre-RAGRBAI tune-up a month in advance. The week the tune-up came, we dropped our bikes off and waited two days for a quote. When the quote came around, the owner suggested hundreds of dollars in repairs. I gritted my teeth and agreed to it, hoping it would be worth it for our 430-mile bike ride ahead of us. It was not. The owner refused to give us a time he could do the repairs, even though we needed to be in Des Moines the next day, saying he would get it done "right away." We had to go to the shop twice the next day since he never called us as he promised to.When we finally collected the bikes, it was closing time for the shop and raining outside, so we couldn't take a test ride. When I finally got the bike on the road, I found he had botched the gears, reducing the functionality so only the bottom gears worked. I ended up having to do a week of biking across Iowa on low gears.Save yourself a headache and do not trust this shop with your bike.
Aug 01, 2024 · Robert MooreGreat experience at Endless Trail Bike Shop! Cold called on Saturday morning, dropped two Giant hybrids off just before closing Saturday afternoon. Nick went through both bikes and called me to discuss his recommendation by noon on Monday and was finished with repairs and detail by Monday afternoon. He only fixed what needed attention, his prices were VERY reasonable, and the bikes looked like new upon Tuesday pick up. I’ll definitely be returning next year and highly recommend Nick and Endless Trail… great customer service and great repair value!
Mar 28, 2023 · Roger HenzeAmazing service. Been an avid cyclist/triathlete in the area for about 5 years and tried several different bike shops for various needs and kept being disappointed. Endless Trail finally met my expectations! They immediately knew that my bike needed new brakes (which other shops had flat out refused to replace) and had crank arms that were recalled 20 years ago.I dropped the bike off on a Wednesday afternoon and was called on Saturday morning to pick it up! The work done was impeccable, the bike was clean, and everything was tuned up. The chain, crank arms, cassette, brakes, and shifter cables were all replaced. The tires were topped off and again, it was CLEAN! Also very reasonable pricing for the service, parts, and time frame.I will be back again and again.
Apr 30, 2023 · Karla Codney (Park-Codney)I’ve done business with Nick for over twenty five years. He’s always treated me fairly. I’ve bought several bikes from them and the service was excellent every time I needed it
