Renaissance Cyclery Reviews
First time I visited store was pressured to buy a used rusty bmx bike second time I went there to test ride a new bike I was interested in purchasing. I was told that I could not ride it, but I could sit on it in the store. Called back because of how interested I was in this new bike owner told me no shop would let me test ride a bike before purchasing and that it’s a bmx bike what would riding it make a difference so In conclusion if you want to spend money on a bike without riding it first and get attitude over the phone this is the place for you :)
Apr 01, 2025 · Ryan ZitoRude, rude, rude.Never came across a place like it before.Called to inquire about buying a MTB wheel. Gave him all the specs. He gave me a good price. Wheels have a few specs you need to match to buy the right wheel. When I asked to confirm the specs they didn't seem to understand wheel specs and said I needed to bring it in. I said why? I'm giving you all the required specs. He basically told me he was to busy and I should go elsewhere. Then he just hung up!Wow! Really couldn't just take my number and call me back at a better time. I'm just a person calling off the street.Steer clear of this place I'm sure, based on this experience, once you make a purchase they won't give you the time of day.To bad you cant give zero stars.
Jul 18, 2024 · RichWorst customer experience I've ever had!Owner couldn't be bothered to explain things to me, a non bicycle person. I was there speaking to him for no more than 5 minutes and asking questions to understand when he told me to "read up on it" because "I can't help you anymore".If I was able to give zero stars I would have.
Aug 01, 2024 · Lillian FernandesBought my sons bike off of them 6 months ago (used) but they said it was like new condition . Brought it there yesterday because the chain keeps coming off , they wanted to charge me 60$ saying it needed a tune up . I said no I only want you to fix the chain because they just did a toonup when I bought it . Come today my son is riding it around and the chain broke off again! Definitely not going back!
Mar 15, 2024 · Tyler WilliamsFYI closed for winter break till 3/1/24. Really great bike shop with reasonable prices. Friendly staff who helped my parents with their bike repairs. Bike tune-up $60 and they'll pick up your bike for $20. E bikes and vintage (40 years old) bikes.
