Melonbike Reviews
Knowledgeable, friendly and will answer any questions you may have about bicycles. They have a pretty good stock of bmx parts, road bike parts and mountain bike parts. Full service, and very reasonable rates for labor. Its not often that I need to take my bike somewhere to have it worked on. But the few times I've needed help I've taken it to Melon.
Jun 20, 2025 · Russel ChandlerMelon Bike in Oklahoma City they have great customer service I purchased my Scott spark from them a few years back and I always take it back up there for them to service I’ve always done a really good job very happy customer The guys are friendly and very knowledgeable on bike repair.
Nov 18, 2022 · Mr. Handyman of S. Oklahoma City and NormanThe service I got from Zach at this bike shop was exceptional. I first came in just needing information on the right road bike for me and the differences between different bikes and he was very knowledgeable about everything. I was able to test ride a bike and compare it to another similar bike. After I bought the bike I was offered a free basic fitting. I also got a great discount on the bike, I think better than any discount you could get at the "fancier" bike shops in Edmond.

Aug 07, 2024 · Matthew Leveridge3.5 starsMy father and I took my son here for his 10th birthday to buy a bike. I hoped that he would choose my dream bike from when I was 10 (something akin to the GT Pro Performer), but he had no interest in that. Instead, he chose a 24" Scott MTB. So I bought a GT bike for myself. Finally, 39 years after my 10th birthday wish, I get my GT bike.In the store the employee had to air up the tire of the MTB on the showroom before my son could test it. By the time my son tried to ride it the following Saturday morning, it was completely flat. I aired it up, and it was flat again within a few days. Now it won't even air up at all. My son has not been able to ride the bike since we bought it for him.I tried to call the store about 10 times over the course of a Saturday morning (during business hours), and no one would answer the phone. I live in Logan County, and I do not want to drive to the shop to get them to change out the tube. I also don't want to pay for tubes when I just bought the bike.I wish someone would answer the phone and send us a tube that we can install at home. Or if I have to drive into town, maybe I would take a store credit for the GT bike pegs I couldn't afford when I bought the bike.UPDATE: The voicemail that answered the phone those ten times on Saturday said that Saturday's business hours were until 2:00pm. Clearly there needs to be an update somewhere to reconcile all available information.
