The world of electric bicycles has expanded rapidly, offering new possibilities for commuting, recreation, and exploring our beautiful California landscapes. As local users, we rely on nearby establishments to provide us with quality products, reliable service, and trustworthy advice. It’s with this local perspective in mind that we delve into what Delfast Bikes represents for our community. Understanding the landscape of local businesses helps us make informed decisions, ensuring our cycling needs are met efficiently and satisfactorily. Our goal is to present a balanced view, drawing directly from the experiences of other users in the area, to help you determine if Delfast Bikes aligns with your expectations and requirements for a bicycle store.
---Delfast Bikes is situated at 4215 Alderson Ave ste g, Baldwin Park, CA 91706, USA. This address places the business within the Baldwin Park community, a central location for many residents in the San Gabriel Valley. When considering any local business, its physical location and how easily it can be accessed are often primary concerns for customers.
For those in Baldwin Park, the location on Alderson Avenue might suggest a degree of convenience, depending on your specific area within the city. However, it is important for prospective customers to verify current operational status before making a trip. Public records and recent customer experiences suggest that the operational status of Delfast Bikes at this address may be inconsistent. Local users should be aware that recent reviews indicate potential challenges with the physical presence of the store. Prior to visiting, it is highly recommended to confirm that the store is open and actively operating to avoid any inconvenience. While the address itself is in a generally accessible part of Baldwin Park, the practical accessibility for a functioning business should be verified by directly attempting to contact the store or checking the most current local listings.
---Based on the general understanding of a "bicycle store" specializing in e-bikes, and without specific current service details for Delfast Bikes, typical services that one might expect from such an establishment would include:
E-Bike Sales: A core offering for an e-bike focused store would involve the sale of various models of electric bicycles, catering to different riding styles such as commuting, off-road, or recreational use. This would typically include a range of frame sizes, motor types, and battery capacities to suit diverse customer needs.
Bicycle Maintenance and Repair: Beyond sales, a comprehensive bicycle store usually provides maintenance and repair services for bicycles, and especially for the specialized components of e-bikes. This could include routine tune-ups, tire replacements, brake adjustments, chain lubrication, and more complex repairs related to the electric motor, battery, or controller.
Parts and Accessories Sales: Customers often look for a selection of bicycle parts and accessories to enhance their riding experience or replace worn components. This might include helmets, lights, locks, cycling apparel, spare tires, inner tubes, and specific e-bike components like chargers or replacement batteries.
Consultation and Advice: A valuable service offered by a specialized bicycle store is expert advice. This could involve guiding customers through the process of choosing the right e-bike, explaining the differences between models, providing tips on maintenance, or advising on local riding routes.
Test Rides: For a significant investment like an e-bike, the opportunity for a test ride is crucial. A physical store would ideally offer a safe environment for customers to try out different models to assess comfort, handling, and performance before making a purchase decision.
However, it is crucial to note that recent customer feedback regarding Delfast Bikes specifically indicates significant issues with their operational status and ability to provide these services. Reviews suggest that the business might be closed, that phone numbers are non-functional, and email communications are unsuccessful. Therefore, while these are the typical services expected from such a store, their current availability from Delfast Bikes is highly questionable according to local user experiences.
---When considering the features and highlights of a bicycle store, especially one specializing in e-bikes, customers typically look for certain attributes that enhance their experience and confidence in the business. Based on the provided customer reviews for Delfast Bikes, some critical observations regarding its features and highlights can be made, albeit with significant caveats.
Product Specifics (Historical): Historically, Delfast Bikes would have offered e-bikes that, according to some past experiences, exhibited issues with quality control (QC) and battery longevity. One customer stated, "the QC on this bike is horrid on top of that i have owned this bike less then three years and will no longer hold a charge." This suggests that while the bikes were available, their long-term reliability for some users was a concern.
Customer Support Accessibility: A key highlight for any business is its ability to provide support. However, current feedback strongly suggests that direct contact methods for Delfast Bikes are problematic. Reviews explicitly mention, "Numbers don't work, their email comes back as full." This indicates a severe lack of accessible customer service channels, which is a critical feature for any product, particularly one requiring potential support or warranty claims.
Local Support and Repair Network: A significant highlight for any local bike shop is its ability to service the products it sells. For Delfast Bikes, a recurring concern among customers is the apparent absence of local support or repair networks. A review notes, "no other e bike companies will touch the bike. Should be 0 stars." This implies that owners of Delfast bikes in the California area may face challenges in finding third-party service providers, leaving them in a difficult position if their bike requires maintenance or repair.
Business Operational Status: Perhaps the most critical feature, or lack thereof, highlighted by recent reviews is the apparent closure of the physical location and the general non-operability of the business. The statement, "This place is closed, and there are no other locations or companies that provide anything for Delfast," is a strong indication that the business may no longer be functioning as a retail or service point for local users.
Therefore, while the concept of Delfast Bikes might have once involved offering e-bikes to the California market, the current "features" from a local user's perspective appear to be characterized by a significant lack of operational presence, customer support, and post-purchase service options.
---For individuals in Baldwin Park, California, who might be seeking contact with Delfast Bikes, here is the publicly listed information:
Address: 4215 Alderson Ave ste g, Baldwin Park, CA 91706, USA
Phone: (925) 384-2010
Mobile Phone: +1 925-384-2010
It is important for local users to be aware of the recent customer feedback regarding these contact methods. Reviews indicate that the provided phone numbers may not be operational, and attempts to reach the business via email have reportedly been unsuccessful due to the email address being full. Additionally, reports suggest the physical location may be closed. Therefore, while this contact information is publicly available, prospective visitors or those seeking support should exercise caution and attempt to verify the current operational status of the business and the functionality of these contact details prior to making any significant effort to reach out or visit.
---When considering whether Delfast Bikes is suitable for locals in California, particularly those in the Baldwin Park area, it's crucial to synthesize all available information, especially recent customer feedback. From a local user's perspective, the suitability of a business is heavily dependent on its accessibility, reliability, and ability to provide ongoing support for its products and services.
Unfortunately, based on the provided customer reviews, Delfast Bikes currently presents significant challenges for local users. The repeated concerns about the store being "closed," non-functional phone numbers, and a full email inbox indicate a severe lack of operational presence and customer support. For anyone in California looking to purchase an e-bike, or seeking service for an existing one, the inability to reliably contact the business or visit a physical location makes it inherently unsuitable. The remark that "no other e bike companies will touch the bike" further compounds the issue, suggesting that even if a purchase was made in the past, owners are left without recourse for maintenance or repairs within the local e-bike service ecosystem.
While the idea of a local e-bike store is appealing for convenience and community support, the current state described by customers for Delfast Bikes suggests it may not be a viable option for meeting cycling needs in Baldwin Park. For locals, finding a bicycle store that is demonstrably open, communicative, and capable of providing long-term product support is paramount. Therefore, based on the current public sentiment and operational issues highlighted in the reviews, Delfast Bikes does not appear to be a suitable choice for locals seeking reliable e-bike sales or service in the California region at this time. It is always recommended that locals seeking cycling solutions explore businesses with verified active operations and positive, recent customer service records.

Don't waste your time. This place is closed, and there are no other locations or companies that provide anything for Delfast. Numbers don't work, their email comes back as full. At this point, it seems like we are all sitting ducks because no other e bike companies will touch the bike. Should be 0 stars
Dec 05, 2024 · Dom W.the QC on this bike is horrid on top of that i have owned this bike less then three years and will no longer hold a charge be careful if this is your choice in e-bike and read all the reviews as everyone’s experience has not been the same.
Apr 05, 2025 · RichardI am thrilled with the service and advice received from all the staff at Delfast, their customer service is fantastic. I have been considering this purchase for some time, and essentially had some doubts, however, I didn’t have to. Yes, delivery takes some time, but it is definitely worth the wait. It is literally the fastest electric bike I have ever seen or heard of. Super happy with how it performs and with the charging capacity. Really innovative stuff.
Aug 29, 2022 · Kevin KelnerGot Delfast electric bike for city rides for me and my partner, we both are pleasantly surprised with how good it is. Rides smoothly, it is easy to control, and the system is intuitively understandable. We don’t ride for too long distances, so don’t charge it too often, like once per week, approximately. The bike picks up a nice speed and is pretty agile. Have been riding it for about 4 months, and no cons discovered
Nov 23, 2022 · Alyssa HartWas absolutely worth the wait. I was a bit hesitant to buy a bike online, but now I am glad I did. The design is stylish, I got many attention and wows from people around, and I am satisfied with the performance as well. Good community ebike that does the job perfectly well.
